Definition

JSON-LD is the recommended format for adding schema markup to a page. It's embedded in a script tag in the HTML head and doesn't affect rendered content. Both Google and Bing strongly prefer JSON-LD over the older microdata or RDFa formats.

Example

A blog post embeds JSON-LD describing it as Article schema with author, datePublished, and image properties.

How Vedwix uses JSON-LD in client work

Always JSON-LD. Generated server-side at build time for static sites.
