What is
Feature Flag?

A runtime toggle for enabling or disabling features without re-deploying.

Definition

Feature flags decouple deployment from release. Code can be deployed to production but kept off via a flag, then turned on for specific users, percentages, or environments. Flags enable progressive rollouts, A/B testing, kill-switches, and safer experimentation. Tools include LaunchDarkly, Statsig, GrowthBook.

Example

A new checkout flow is deployed behind a flag, enabled for 10% of users, monitored, then ramped to 100%.

How Vedwix uses Feature Flag in client work
